Chaos Breaks Out at Stadium
Numerous supporters gathered on roadways from early morning, with chaos occurring when a large crowd broke through a gate at Nairobi's main stadium, prompting armed forces to fire in the air.

Airport Incident and Government Building Confrontation
Earlier in the day, numerous of grievers temporarily invaded the city's air terminal, disrupting a formal proceeding where the head of state and dignitaries were receiving Odinga's body with military honors.
This incident led to a temporary halt of flight activities.
Assemblies also flooded adjacent streets and tried to enter the legislative building, where the administration had first arranged the public viewing.
Political Heritage and Community Support
Though mainly known as an opposition figure, Odinga served as head of government in 2008 and also established a political pact with the leader last year in a career characterized by shifting alliances.
He inspired intense commitment among supporters, especially in his Luo community based in western Kenya, many of whom maintain he was prevented from obtaining the presidency by electoral fraud.
Many of Odinga's supporters, who were unborn in 1991 when Kenya transitioned to a multi-faction governance, paid tribute to Odinga's efforts as an advocate.
